As a professional organizer, I am always on the hunt for the perfect photo and memento storage for my clients. I am generally disappointed by a lack of options, and the low-quality products available. It’s been especially true when it comes to storing photos and mementos. That is, until now.
Unfortunately, when it comes to finding storage for photos and mementos, most retailers fall short every time. The typical storage options are low grade, mass-produced paper boxes. Cheap plastic options made in China, that neither look nor feel high-end, are even worse.
After years of searching for the right product to safely store photos and mementos, I met a manufacturer out of New York who put my mind at ease. It was 2017 when I set out to Albuquerque, NM for a photo organizing conference that I learned about archival quality boxes. That’s when the game changed. These awesome archival boxes service national archives and museums alike.
I was thrilled to finally find a solution to a decade long gap in the market. Previously unavailable to the public, these storage boxes are now available for sale in the Simply Spaced shop!
About the boxes
My new friend Rick answered all my questions. He provided a product line that is both high-end, safe, acid-free, and made in America.
I jumped on the chance to test out the photo and memento storage boxes on my own collection and immediately fell in love with the substantial quality. With a high-profile client base and precious memories at risk, I knew there was a demand for this product. I immediately connected with Rick on the idea of developing a custom line for Simply Spaced.

The recently upgraded semi-gloss paper makes it easy to keep dust at bay. The quality exterior prevents dirt and fingerprints. The photo boxes come with custom inserts and two tab lengths with the option of an archival quality folder (with a velcro enclosure) for oversized photos and media!
We’re also thrilled to announce that the archival boxes are now available in pristine white!
These oh-so-special archival boxes are acid-free and lignin-free. The contents are safe from dust, sun damage, and deterioration. The coated and lightly textured exterior cover materials are easy to maintain. Lastly, you don’t need to worry about preservation. The boxes will pass the test of time.
